In2Touch is growing!
It’s all happening this Spring! Our first venue in the North East will be starting in May
in Newcastle – Whitley Bay.
As In2Touch is the leading touch league provider in the UK, we love seeing more people getting involved in the sport. A goal of In2Touch is to increase access to touch rugby for people throughout the UK. Whether it be new people being introduced to the sport or people who have played before and wanting to get back into it ; we are delighted that we continue to expand our reach to allow more people to play in a well organised, social league.
League details :
- Dates : 09/05/2023 – 13/06/2023
- Played every Tuesday for 6 weeks
- Mixed League
- Games are played between 7pm-9pm
- Each 30 minute game will be refereed by England Touch qualified referees
The venue
Whitley Bay Rockcliff RFC will be the home of this In2Touch Spring league with an awesome AGP surface, access to toilets and changing rooms. The Whitley Bay RFC clubhouse and bar will also welcome all touch players for a team social after games.
Why register for the In2Touch Whitley Bay Spring league?
As the weather is heating up and days are getting longer, there is no better way to spend a weekday evening than on a sports field moving and socialising with friends, family or work colleagues.
The Whitley Bay league promises to be fun, social and well organised. Additionally, teams will know in advance when their weekly fixtures are in order to plan in advance.
There are limited places for teams as it is our first league we’re running here – so register soon to get involved!
Registration process
Team registration : if you have 8-12 people wanting to get involved, you can register a team here.
* Please note : as this is a mixed league, you have to play with at least 2 females at all times so it’s good to have 3-4 females in your team. The cost for a team entry into this 6 week league is £150.
Individual registration : if you don’t have a team but still want to play, that’s no problem! You can register here as an individual and we’ll place you in a team. Individual registration fee for this league is £20.
